The table needs sorting out.

[edit]

I noticed plenty of things wrong with the results table, these are:

1. We don't need all these unnecessary colour codes. All we need in the table is "Safe", "Bottom 2" and "Eliminated", nothing else. "Bottom 2" explains it all really, we don't need "Bottom 2 and eliminated"/"Bottom 2 and saved by Andrew Lloyd Webber". Lets use week 1 elimination as an example: Steph would have "Bottom 2" under week 1 and Amy would just have "Bottom 2" under week 1 and the rest of her section of the table would be coloured red meaning she was eliminated under week 1. 2. Steph is marked as 9th and Lauren as 10th in the table, someone actually explain what this means. They are still in the show, and just because they have both been in the singoff doesn't mean they will finish 9th and 10th, so I have no idea what this means and it shouldn't be there. 3. We don't need the "Judges verdict on Who Wasn't Dorothy" because this is listed underneath every episode.

Take a look at the Maria, Joseph and Nancy tables, they're all perfect. Also is it really necessary to include full names in the table, because the others don't. Speaking of tables, is it necessary to note down the Dorothys' dress colours, because once again the others don't and it isn't really that important. And on a completely unrelated topic, do you think it will be a good idea to include a Contraversory (sp?) section in the article? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.181.55.64 (talk) 14:46, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Age Table: This claims that it displays the ages of the contestants at the beginning of the series, however Danielle Hope is shown as being 18 and she did not turn 18 until midway through the competition (26th April).

The official website still says that Danielle is 17 despite turning 18 in April so leave it as 17 MSalmon (talk) 17:15, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes leave it as 17, we should put "Age at the start of the series" to make things clearer. That's how it was at the start of every series and Danielle was 17 to begin with. Perhaps we should put a little note underneath the table to say that she turned 18 during the course of the live shows? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.180.169.54 (talk) 12:47, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is already a note at the bottom of the table to say "as at start of seres"

Version of Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend was from Moulin Rouge.

[edit]

The version in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes was much slower, and I think the spoken word "Tiffanys" was not used. Surely it's all right to say that it was the Moulin Rouge version of the Gentlemen Prefer Blondes song? Musically, there's a difference. 78.146.245.130 (talk) 22:51, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Doctor Who incident

[edit]

I've added a section on the Doctor Who incident, using a condensed version of what was added to the article for The Time of Angels. This is a notable incident given the coverage it received on BBC News and the 5000+ complaints received, so I feel including it is justified. The episode article features additional detail (response on other programmes, celebrity Twitter complaints, etc) but I don't think we need that much detail here. 68.146.80.110 (talk) 16:31, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
